India vs England Live Score, 3rd Test Match Day 2: Jasprit Bumrah starred once again with the ball, taking 5/74 to help India bowl out England for 387 on day two of the third Test at Lord’s.

Returning to the XI after a break in the second Test for workload management, Bumrah produced a lethal morning spell - removing Joe Root, Ben Stokes, and Chris Woakes in just seven balls - to swing momentum India’s way. His burst left England reeling at 271/7, after they had started the day at a solid 251/4.

However, England’s lower order refused to crumble. Wicketkeeper-batter Jamie Smith, continuing his fine form, scored a brisk 51, while Brydon Carse made a composed 56, his maiden Test half-century. The duo added 84 runs for the eighth wicket, frustrating India’s bowlers and steering England to a competitive total by lunch.

After the break, Siraj struck twice - removing Smith and later cleaning up Carse - while Bumrah picked up Jofra Archer to complete his second straight five-wicket haul and his first at Lord’s, a moment that earned him a spot on the iconic Honours Board. It was also Bumrah’s 15th career five-for in Tests.

Earlier, Joe Root reached his 37th Test century, surpassing both Steve Smith and Rahul Dravid to climb to fifth on the all-time list of century-makers.

The five-match series remains finely poised at 1-1, with India having bounced back with a massive 336-run win at Edgbaston in the second Test.

रूसी विदेश मंत्री सर्गेई लावरोव ने कहा कि पुतिन की भारत यात्रा के लिए तैयारियां चल रही हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन ने पीेएम मोदी की ओर से भारत यात्रा का निमंत्रण स्वीकार कर लिया है.

रूस ने गुरुवार को कहा है कि राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन जल्द ही भारत का दौरा करेंगे. पिछले साल अपने रूस दौरे में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने पुतिन को भारत आने का निमंत्रण दिया था. 2022 में यूक्रेन के साथ युद्ध छिड़ने के बाद रूसी राष्ट्रपति पुतिन का यह पहला भारत दौरा होने वाला है.

मोदी और पुतिन के चाय पर बातचीत करने, घुड़दौड़ का शो देखने के वीडियो वायरल हुए थे. एक वायरल वीडियो में रूसी राष्ट्रपति पीएम मोदी को अपने आवास के गोल्फ कोर्स में घुमाते दिख रहे थे.

In letter to Yunus, PM Modi calls for stronger ties with Bangladesh amid strain in relations over violence against Hindus.

Violence against minorities in Bangladesh has been a key point of contention in recent months. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal noted that between August 2024 and February 2025, over 2,374 incidents of violence against minorities were reported in Bangladesh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized the shared history between Delhi and Dhaka, calling on Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus to strengthen bilateral relations based on mutual sensitivity to each other’s interests and concerns. Modi’s outreach comes as tensions have arisen following violence against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh under Yunus’s interim government after the ousting of Sheikh Hasina.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has repeatedly condemned the attacks on Hindu minorities and urged Bangladesh to ensure the safety of its religious communities and institutions. In a message to Yunus and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of their National Day on March 26, Modi highlighted the historical ties between the two nations, referencing the Bangladesh Liberation War.

“This day stands as a testament to our shared history and sacrifices, that have laid the foundation of our bilateral partnership,” Modi wrote. “The spirit of the Liberation War of Bangladesh continues to remain a guiding light for our relationship, which has flourished across multiple domains, bringing tangible benefits to our peoples.”

Modi reaffirmed India’s commitment to advancing the partnership with Bangladesh, stressing the importance of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. “We remain committed to advancing this partnership, driven by our common aspirations for peace, stability, and prosperity, and based on mutual sensitivity to each other’s interests and concerns,” he added.

Violence against minorities in Bangladesh has been a key point of contention in recent months. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal noted that between August 2024 and February 2025, over 2,374 incidents of violence against minorities were reported in Bangladesh, though authorities verified only 1,254 of these cases. According to Jaiswal, 98 per cent of the incidents were classified as “political in nature,” but he stressed that India expects Bangladesh to conduct thorough investigations and hold perpetrators accountable, regardless of the political context.

Jaiswal also expressed concern about the release of extremists convicted of violent crimes, suggesting it has further destabilized the situation in Bangladesh.

As India continues to engage with the interim government on the protection of minorities, it remains unclear whether Modi will meet Yunus at the upcoming BIMSTEC Summit in Thailand, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had told a Parliamentary panel last week. He also conveyed that while members of Parliament had raised concerns about the violence against Hindus, Dhaka has maintained that the attacks were politically motivated and not specifically aimed at minority groups.

People's Mandate Has Shown Who's Real Traitor: Eknath Shinde On Kunal Kamra Row.

The Maharashtra deputy chief minister has been called a traitor several times by the               Uddhav Thackeray faction after he split the Shiv Sena in 2022 and joined hands                        with the BJP.

Hitting out at the Uddhav Thackeray faction of the Shiv Sena over the 'gaddar' (traitor) jibe, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has repeated the allegation that its use by Kunal Kamra in a satirical song about him was part of a 'supari' (contract) given to the comedian.

The Shiv Sena chief also alleged that while the Uddhav faction of the Sena and others in the opposition in Maharashtra are talking about the Constitution and freedom of speech now, there have been several instances in the past when they have acted against people who criticised them. Mr Shinde cited the example of the bulldozing of actor-MP Kangana Ranaut's Mumbai office in 2020 after she spoke out against the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maharashtra government's handling of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death.

Mr Shinde has been called a traitor several times by the Uddhav Thackeray faction after he split the Shiv Sena in 2022 and joined hands with the BJP. The move had led to the Thackeray-led government falling in Maharashtra and being replaced with one headed by Mr Shinde.

Speaking in the Maharashtra Legislative Council on Wednesday, Mr Shinde thundered, "You keep calling me 'gaddar, gaddar', you will soon have to close the 'daar' (door in Marathi) of your party."

Referring to the verdict given by the Maharashtra Assembly Speaker and the Election Commission - that the faction led by him is the "real" Shiv Sena - and the thumping win achieved by the BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) in last year's Assembly polls in the state, Mr Shinde continued, "The Election Commission, Supreme Court and the Speaker of the House have said who is the 'gaddar'. More importantly, the people, who are above everyone, have also given their verdict. No matter how much "supari" (contract) you give, nothing's going to work."

In a show shot at the Habitat Comedy Club in Mumbai's Khar, Mr Kamra had made some comments on the Eknath Shinde chief - without naming him - through a satirical version of the song 'Bholi si surat' from the 1997 blockbuster 'Dil To Pagal Hai'. The satirical song also had a mention of 'gaddar'.

'Where Was Your Constitution?'

After a row erupted, Shiv Sena workers vandalised the Habitat Comedy Club on Sunday and a case was filed against him, Mr Kamra said he would cooperate with the police but would not apologise for his remarks. 

While ending his show, the comedian had also shown a copy of the Constitution to the audience and said, "For all of the people who will not like this show, I have something for you... This is the Constitution of India and this is what allows me to do what I do."

Members of the Uddhav Sena and other opposition parties have also accused Mr Shinde of going against the Constitution by seeking action against Mr Kamra, prompting the Shiv Sena chief to hit back on Wednesday. 

Mr Shinde brought up instances of a retired Indian Navy personnel being beaten up in 2020 allegedly by Shiv Sena workers for forwarding a cartoon on Uddhav Thackeray and comedian Pranit More being thrashed last month for comments against Veer Pahariya, who is the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde of the Congress. 

Apart from the demolition of Kangana Ranaut's office, the deputy chief minister also pointed to the united Shiv Sena's reaction after popular Radio Jockey Malishka had made a satirical song about potholes in 2017. 

"Where was your constitution when you beat up a retired person from merchant navy? When Pranit More was beaten in Solapur... when you bulldozed Kangana's office?" Mr Shinde asked.

"Anyone shows the constitution these days, in a diary," he added, in what was seen as a dig at both Mr Kamra and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
